There are no ‘written rules’ regarding the attire for the handler or leader in a ‘leadline’ class. Dress neatly and conservatively, much the way you’d expect the Judge who is officiating to be clothed. A nice straw hat, a long or mid length skirt and blouse topped off with a blazer and comfortable walking shoes would suit very well, in my opinion. One fact of horseshowing we all agree on is to plan for unexpected weather for both your ‘protégé and yourself; warmer coats, raingear, etc. always have a place of honor in my trunk. Good luck. I hope you and Devon have fun.Ask your judging, hunter, hunt seat equitation related questions on my question & answer message board and I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
